Forecast for the Future

"Every individual without exception bears a potential writer within himself. The reason is that everyone has trouble accepting the fact that he will disappear unheard of and unnoticed in an indifferent universe, and everyone wants to make himself into a universe of words before it's too late.

Once the writer in every individual comes to life (and that time is not that far off), we are in for an age of universal deafness and lack of understanding."

Week 13, Concerts: LIVE BLOG/RATDOG--Birds

bird song.
just had my first lost-my-blog-entry answering a text. some revelatory shit too.
had a hilarious moment with a girl who stood next to me tellingme that the last time she saw Warren Haynes at the Beacon she "was in high school and tripping on acid up in the balcony."

on another note, with Bob's yr uncle, I hope to god Bob Weird is still touring in 19 yrs so I can take my (arbitrarily-aged) 11 year old to see him and explain what life was like before they began implanting wi-max touch screen devices in our forearms and nothing is secret.

unknown blond woman came out and sang with Turn On Your Lovelight. everyone cheers. fun times.

That unknown blonde woman was Dana Fuchs, who had a big role in the film "Across the Universe."
