Forecast for the Future

"Every individual without exception bears a potential writer within himself. The reason is that everyone has trouble accepting the fact that he will disappear unheard of and unnoticed in an indifferent universe, and everyone wants to make himself into a universe of words before it's too late.

Once the writer in every individual comes to life (and that time is not that far off), we are in for an age of universal deafness and lack of understanding."

MIX WEEK! SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

So next week is mix-a-day week and I am excited. I have a bunch of themes already picked out and set in stone, but I would still love to hear some more possibilities from those of you out there. Any ideas? If so, post as comments or email to yearofhyperlivingATgmail.com.

cheers,
Jeffrey B

Hope your Friday involves merry making.

One of my favorite mixes I ever made was imagining myself in 1990 at age 25. What "new" music would I have been listening to? This can be easy or difficult. For me, I had to consider my love for certain local bands, ahem, so what local-like bands would have replaced them. Also, without the internet, the mix may have been considerably more constricted (i.e. no hearing ANY ALBUM ANYTIME ANYWHERE).
